From it’s inception in early 2002, StealthFiction.com had the purpose of sharing creative works. Keeping true to that spirit, it is with great pleasure that we make a jump from stand alone site to a creative writing community that offers members an extremely easy way to share their writing. Other features include frequent contests that award cash prizes, forums, groups, and collaboration tools.

Our long term goal is to create hard-copy anthologies from some of the best yet-to-be-known writers.

Your Own Wordpress Site: When you sign up you get the option to create a completely free of charge full website powered by wordpress which will make it easy to post updates and pages.

Go Pro: Want more options, plugins, space, or themes? Maybe you just want to help support the cause. If so, you can choose a pro membership package. You will get extra plugins and over 100 themes to choose from that are not available to standard members. You will also be featured on our home page which will draw more visitors, and you’ll receive a badge widget that you can display on your site to let your users know your ranking. On top of that as a pro member you can map your own domain name to your blog.

Share Your Writing: We made it easy to share your writing. When you create a site, we have some default categories for you to post in. By posting in the pre-made categories your work will show up on our main site, drawing in readers. You can also tag your writing, and it will show up on our tags page. Your site has built in sharing features so you can easily post to facebook, twitter, or one of the other top bookmarking sites.

Communicate With The Community: Stealth Fiction runs on the latest version of buddypress. Adding user profiles, friend list, mail, groups, forums, and much more.

Read and Interact: You are here to share your writing, and to make friends. If you review other member’s work, they will do the same for you. You can leave a comment to critique or just post your thought in general. Don’t want to comment, well that’s ok, it’s easy to rate using the star rating system instead.

Entrer Writing Contests: We will offer writing contests, both free, and paid. The rules, and how to enter can be found on the writing contest page. Winners may have their writing show up as part of an anthology one day.

Track Your Visitors: Google Analytics is enabled for all members. Tracking can even be monitored from the back end of your site! Instructions on how to set up tracking can be found on the FAQ page.

Import Your Blog: If you already have a wordpress, type pad, or blogger blog, importing your current posts to your new Stealth Fiction site is quick and easy. Tips on how to do this can be found on the tutorials page.

Style Your Site: Themes, themes, themes! As a standard member we offer a few great selections that are highly customizable. You can change the colors, header, and virtually everything else with our selection of sidebar widgets. As a pro member we offer well over 100 additional choices. Plus if there is a theme you want, but don’t have, contact us and we will consider adding it to our selection.

Tools To Help You: Wordpress functionality can be expanded and modified with the use of plugins and widgets. We offer a wide selection to our standard members that will help you spread the word about your latest writing. We are constantly on the look out for new plugins that our users may want, so if you have any suggestions, please contact us.

Upload Videos And Images: If you are into photography or videography, it is easy to upload media to your site. Standard users have plenty of space to store video files, and if you need more space you can upgrade to a pro member which will give you nearly unlimited storage spare for your photos and films.

Less Spam: We take security very serious. A lot of research was done to find the best anti-spam and anti-phishing solutions. While we can’t prevent all spam, with our automated detection, combined with our registration and comment capture systems, we are confident that 95% will be blocked.

Help When You Need It: If Stealth Fiction is to work as a community site, our users will need to assist each other when it comes to writing, however if you have technical problems, or simply can’t figure out how to do something, you can check out our Video Tutorials, FAQs, and Help Forum. If that does’t work, you can always contact us directly. We’re always happy to help.

Earn Money: Running a site like Stealth Fiction isn’t free. To help support the cost we will display ONE ad on each page. The good news is, we are offering you 50% of the income. If you choose, you can use Google Adsense, and your ads will show 1/2 the time and our ads will show 1/2 the time. It’s even better for pro members. Go pro and the ads will be removed, however, if you choose to use adsense anyway, you will get 100% of the revenue! More info on revenue sharing can be found on our FAQ page.

Help Us Grow: You want readers, we want writers. We are offering a Cash reward to all members who can bring in new talent. We’ve set up an affiliate program that will track any visitors you bring to Stealth Fiction via your own personal special URL.
